The Lakeridge Health Foundation recently shared information on the 2017-2018 fiscal year grants that their generous donors helped provide to Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Whitby. “We have the best donors, and its because of each and every one of them that these grants are possible. We couldn’t have done any of this without their support and we look forward to sharing more details in our Annual Report later in the year” said Yves Gadler, CEO Lakeridge Health Foundation.
The amounts granted include $500,000 to Pharmacy; $430,850 to Cancer Care, $365,000 to Surgery, $140,190 to Women/Children Neo Natal Care, $75,000 to the Education and Resource Centre, $53,140 to Cardiac Rehab, $47,500 to Dialysis, $40,000 to Clinical Support and $10,500 to other initiatives.
Lakeridge Health Foundation was a recipient of Canada’s 2017 Nonprofit Employer of Choice Award.
The award recognizes organizations that have committed themselves to better business management practices ensuring successful mission achievement. Canada’s nonprofit sector has recognized the vital importance of incorporating private sector business practices in areas such as marketing, financial accountability and people management while still honoring the sector’s best practices in service and mission delivery. Candidates for the NEOC award are those nonprofits whose people leadership and vision has translated into exemplary talent management practices.
