The Bowmanville Antiques and Folk Art Show is one of Canada’s premiere showcases of country furniture, listed pre-war Canadian art, folk art and decorative accessories. Join discerning collectors and decorators as they return to Bowmanville this spring for their annual opportunity to buy from the top dealers in the country, many of whom save their best offerings just for this show.
Bowmanville proudly displays the high standard of all exhibited offerings, as each item is vetted by a group of experts to ensure they are of the highest quality. It’s a show unlike any other in Canada – museum quality treasures at every turn, all available for your very own home. In celebration of this, their 46th year, there is a special exhibit “From sea to shining sea – Nautical Antiquities of Canada” honouring the place of fresh and salt water throughout Canada’s history.
The show takes place on Friday, April 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m and Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex. Admission is $20 Friday with re-entry Saturday and $10 for Saturday only. The show is in association with the Canadian Decoy & Outdoor Collectibles Association, Miller & Miller Auctions and Post & Beam Architectural Reclamation.
