This April 16 to 22, in recognition of Earth Week, residents are invited to participate in a number of activities that will help make Whitby a cleaner and greener community for all to enjoy.
Each year, in the lead up to Earth Day (held each April 22), Earth Week invites people in communities around the world to reconnect with nature and take action to create a greener and more sustainable future for our planet. This year, Earth Day events will occur in more than 190 countries.
