Durham Region Police launch public opinion survey

The Durham Regional Police want to hear your thoughts about crime, victimization, neighbourhood safety issues, and the quality of police services in Durham Region.

As part of their ongoing commitment to service improvement, the DRPS is reaching out to residents of Durham Region and conducting a public opinion survey. Results from the survey will be used to help the Service build strong relationships with the communities they serve and strengthen public confidence in the police.

“Our main focus is providing a safe community for residents. We want to hear from you about what that means to you. What are your priorities? Tell us what we should be focusing on in order to provide quality police services to you and your family,” says Chief Paul Martin.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is now available online at www.drps.ca/survey or in a paper version upon request. The survey will be available until October 31, 2018.

If you have questions about the survey or wish to request a copy, please contact Brad Carter of the DRPS Strategic Planning Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 4394 during regular business hours or send an e-mail to survey@drps.ca.
