In the latest round of community consultations to gather information to inform the future of acute care, people who live and work in Durham Region are invited to provide ideas, suggestions and input to shape the future of Lakeridge Health.
The information builds on 5,000 points of feedback provided earlier this year, and is part of Lakeridge Health’s multi-year planning process focused on strengthening the acute health care system for Durham Region. Information collected will help shape delivery of services, hospitals and other health facilities required to serve the community over the next 5, 10, 20 years and beyond.
Durham residents have until December 12 to complete a confidential online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LHStrategicPlan20192024 (English) and https://fr.surveymonkey.com/r/LHPlanStrategique20192024 (French). The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and includes questions about Lakeridge Health’s strengths, opportunities and insights into how the community accesses health care, building on the previous consultations Lakeridge Health consulted in the spring of this year.
“It is especially important that the future of the acute care system is informed and influenced by the diverse communities we serve,” said Lakeridge Health President and CEO Matthew Anderson. “Over the past year, the community has provided amazing input and it is now time to establish which priorities are the most important as we build for the future.”
