Fall events to develop Durham Region entrepreneurs

The Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) is the go-to for business guidance in Durham Region. Teresa Shaver and her team organize effective training, learning and connecting events for the entrepreneur and small business community in Durham Region. Here are some highlights of what is coming up in their Fall business event calendar.

UP! is a series of practical and candid sales talks by experts in the trenches. They share their work, craft, tactics and personal stories that accentuate success. The September 19th session brings Kevin Folk, Co-Founder & COO of AWARE Beverages Inc.(SoCIAL LITE Vodka). The October 17th session features Audrey Jamieson, President, Marketing Kitchen. Sessions are free for local entrepreneurs and small business owners, and take place 8:00am – 9:30am at the Whitby Centennial Building, 416 Centre Street South, Whitby. The How To Project Event Series presented by Marcus Dickinson is a series of three unique and engaging sessions designed to help you sell more. Marcus has a dynamic energy, a genuine passion for people, and a relentless drive to see others succeed. The sessions are on pitches (Sept. 20), profit (Oct. 10) and emotional intelligence (Dec. 5).
