Generals Go For 5 in a Row

Ever since a tough overtime loss to the Hamilton Bulldogs back on October 14th, the Oshawa Generals have not skipped a beat.

The Gens cruised to victory the past four games, winning by a margin of at least goals each contest. They even avenged those same Bulldogs win 5-3 win on the road last night.

Tonight, Oshawa (7-4-1) welcomes Kitchener (6-5-2) to the Tribute Communities Centre. The Rangers are looking bounce back after a 7-4 loss last night to the league-leading Sault Sainte Marie Greyhounds.

Expected to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference, the Generals will have their work cut out against Coach Jay McKee’s club.

Veteran Rangers forward Joseph Garreffa is one of the OHL best two-way players, and he’s already off to a strong campaign with 17 points.

Defenceman Michael Vykojevic will be assigned to shut down the Generals top line. He had an impressive rookie season, making it difficult for opposing star forwards like Jordan Kyrou and Taylor Raddysh that he matched up against.

Goalie Luke Richardson brings a wealth of experience to the Kitchener net that could also prove challenging for Oshawa. He comes in to tonight’s contest with 5 wins and 2.86 goals against average.

Game time is 7:05 and will be available to watch on OHL Live.
