Delpark Homes has agreed to a five-year partnership agreement to sponsor Arena 4 at the Legends Centre.
“We are excited that Delpark Homes, a long-term Durham Region business, is partnering with the City and sponsoring the arena at the Legends Centre,” said Councillor Bob Chapman, Chair of the Community Services Committee. “Sponsorships such as this assist with funding the arena’s operating costs which helps all Oshawa taxpayers – thank you Delpark Homes.”
Delpark Homes is a family business that has helped make Durham Region “A Place to Call Home®” for hundreds of families. Over the past three decades, Delpark has built thousands of homes across the Greater Toronto Area. They have a special regard for the City of Oshawa with projects like The Brook Phase 2, currently selling in North Oshawa, and The Ross Modern Towns, currently in the registration phase coming to Rossland and Thornton later this spring. Delpark’s commitment, to Durham Region and Oshawa specifically, is highlighted by plans to develop and construct a number of residential subdivisions and retail centres in the Region for years to come.
Sponsorship recognition installation will begin in March including:
- decals on upper windows panes of Arena 4
- a large banner hung inside the arena
- ice logos during the regular ice season
- branding on the score clock
- rink boards and reverse rink boards
The Legends Centre is a premier recreation and community facility featuring a leisure pool, four NHL-sized ice pads, a gymnasium, aerobics studio, fitness centre and elevated indoor walking track. It is also home to an Oshawa Public Libraries branch and Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres branch.
