A durham man is facing dozens of charges after he repeatedly broke into the Cherrywood Hydro One station in Pickering.
On Saturday, March 23, 2019, at approximately 3:20 a.m., police were called about a theft in progress at the location on Fairport Road. Several break and enters had happened here since the spring of 2018 and quantities of copper and hardware had been stolen.
Police set up a perimeter while other searched the area. A K-9 Unit was able to track the man and take him into custody without incident.
The male was linked to eight other break and enters that occurred between April 2018 and March 2019.
Harold Andrade, age 47 of Grandview Drive in Oshawa, is facing 32 charges, including Break and Enter, Theft and Mischief.
