Since non-essential businesses were forced to close due to Covid-19 in March, many people have been scrambling to figure out how to make their hair look somewhat presentable for video calls with coworkers.
In the last couple of weeks, parents have also realized that they better get a plan quick to cut their kids hair before the youngsters try cutting their own hair as a creative time-waster.
Since last month, Starks Barber Company has been running free virtual haircut consultations. After speaking with clients, the Starks team realized the huge number of parents that were having trouble cutting their children’s hair.
Over Zoom, folks can book 15-minute sessions where they go online and share what equipment they have to cut the hair. This includes kitchen scissors, dog grooming tools or actual hair grooming tools.
The Starks team will then provide tips and techniques to guide people through the steps of cutting someone else’s hair.
When life gets back to normal and most stores reopen, you will be able to visit a Starks in Markham, Stouffville, Toronto and Brooklin. For more information, visit www.starksbarbercompany.com.
