The Corporation of the City of Oshawa has just announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Ralph as City Manager, effective April 1, 2019. The decision was passed following a special meeting of Council on March 25, 2019.
Ralph brings a wealth of leadership and more than 30 years’ experience in various roles at the City, most recently as the Commissioner of Development Services.
He began his tenure at the City of Oshawa in 1986 as a planner and went on to various positions, including Manager of Development & Urban Design and Director of Planning Services. In February 2015, he was promoted to Commissioner, Development Services.
Ralph holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree with a major in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo. He is a registered Professional Planner and a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners.
