Panattoni is excited to announce that it held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday August 29, 2019 to launch their new industrial development in the City of Oshawa.

Located at 1121 & 1147 Thornton Road South, this state-of-the-art development is Panattoni’s first speculative project in Durham Region and will offer tenants high quality property attributes and cost savings through high efficiency building and design.

Construction has started on two industrial buildings that are being built simultaneously and will total 630,000 square feet of speculative development. Strategically located within minutes to Highway 401, this site will provide easy access to employee amenities and other 400 series highways. Leading the market in the design of best-in-class industrial facilities, features of this site will include high efficiency LED lighting, a superior clear height and shipping door ratio, ESFR sprinklers, as well as the coveted feature of trailer parking.

On hand for the ground-breaking ceremony were senior representatives from Panattoni Development Company who were joined by members of Oshawa City Council and members of the City of Oshawa’s Corporate Leadership Team.
