After years of evaluating over 700,000 scientific research projects about aging and health, the World Health Organization concluded that leading a sedentary lifestyle is one of the 10 leading causes of death and disability. Their evaluation revealed that even gentle, regular exercise such as walking, swimming or dancing increase lifespan from three to five years. Come out for some exercise and fun with the social 55+ badminton group. Good for beginners or those with a little more experience looking to brush up on their skills. No partner required. 55+ volleyball is designed for men and women who still work during the day. Meet new people, play a sport and have some fun, all while getting some exercise! Appropriate for the beginner or those with previous experience. Knowledgeable, patient instructor/coach will provide tips and help facilitate game play.
