Public viewing party of games 6 and 7 of the NBA finals

Tribute Communities Centre will open its doors for free public viewings of games 6 and 7 of the NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors if Toronto doesn’t seal the deal at game 5 on Monday night. The Tribute Communities Centre will be utilizing their 5.2mm HD centre-hung video board to display the TV broadcast of the games.

“The majority of the games in the NBA Finals have aligned with other scheduled events at the Tribute Communities Centre which has not permitted us to host public viewings earlier in the series,” stated William Balfour, Spectra’s Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing & Group Sales. “We might be selfish in hoping that the series goes to a game 6 or 7, but we’re staying optimistic in that whenever the series ends, Raptors fans and Canadian basketball fans will have something to cheer about. We want to help create a space where fans can gather, share in the excitement and create memories that can be shared years from now.”

The free public viewing of Game 6 will take place June 13 with venue doors opening at 8 p.m. and the game starting at 9 p.m. Fans are encouraged to experience Oshawa’s downtown restaurants including Prospects Bar & Grill, which is located inside the venue, before the game or concessions will be available on site for purchase.

Game 7 will take place on June 16 with venue doors opening at 7 p.m. and the game starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are required for entry into the venue. General admission tickets are currently available free online through www.tributecommunitiescentre.com or may be picked up upon entry to the venue at Gate 1 once doors open while supplies last.

Prizes, special menu prizing and more will be available at the public viewings. For more up-to-date information on the Oshawa free public viewings of the 2019 NBA Finals visit: www.tributecommunitiescentre.com
