Regent Theater Hot Rod Cinema features car shows and movies

The Regent Theater is hosting Tuesday night Hot Rod Cinema this summer, featuring door prizes, a car viewing on Victoria Street at 5:30 pm followed by the movie at 7:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 (Cash at Door) children & students are free with ID and adult accompaniment.

Tuesday August 21st is CHEECH & CHONG’S, UP IN SMOKE
Meeting by chance on a highway somewhere in California while searching for supplies, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong accidentally get deported to Mexico. Desperate to get home in time to play a gig they agree to drive a van back to the States not realizing how poorly it is operating. They have adventures with two female hitchhikers all the while managing to avoid the cops they are not even aware are following them.
Summer finale August 28th featuring AMERICAN GRAFFITI
It’s the end of summer 1962 in a small southern California town. Best friends Curt and Steve are scheduled to leave town for college back east. Curt wavers as he spots an unknown beautiful blonde in a T-bird who mouths the words “I love you”. Steve, on the other hand, wants to leave, despite having to leave his girlfriend Laurie behind. Steve and Laurie spend the evening “negotiating” the state of their relationship.
