MPP Tracy MacCharles decides to leave provincial politics after serving her constituents since 2011.
MacCharles announced that she won’t be seeking re-election in June.
“After two elections and almost seven years of service to the people of Pickering-Scarborough East, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will not be seeking re-election in the upcoming 42nd Ontario General Election,” said MacCharles.
“As many know, I have been facing health challenges over the past year. I have come to the realization that I would not be able to bring the full energy and drive to this campaign that my constituents deserve from their candidates and representatives.”
