Whitby residents enjoy free activities during Recreation and Parks Month

The Town of Whitby invites residents to celebrate Recreation and Parks Month in June by taking part in a number of free programs being offered at the Town’s recreational facilities.

Each year, Recreation and Parks Month highlights the more than 120 parks and over 2,200 recreation programs available and offered within the community.

This year, residents are invited to take part in the following:

  • June 1 to 8: Free one-week trial health club access at the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex for new users
  • June 9 to 15: Free recreational swims at the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex and the Anne Ottenbrite Pool
  • June 16 to 22: Free drop-in programs at the Brooklin Community Centre and Library and Whitby Seniors Activity Centre
  • June 23 to 30: Free public skates at Iroquois Park Sports Centre and McKinney Centre
